Windows 7 Beta

Windows 7 Beta is the newest operating system made by Microsoft. Windows 7 Beta was made to replace all of the annoying problems of Windows Vista. Microsoft listened to all of our feedback and fixed them in Windows 7. Windows 7 is available for download at Microsoft's website for free since it is for evaluation purposes. All Microsoft wants in return for their free software is that you give feedback to them if you find any "bugs" in the operating system. The Windows 7 Beta expires on August 1st, 2009 so you will need to have a backup of your system and the disks that came with your computer so you can re-install your old operating system because you will no longer be able to use Windows 7 after this date. To install Windows 7 you kneed to either do a clean install on your hard drive, make a separate partition, do an upgrade installation, or use a virtual hard drive program like Virtual PC 2007 or VMware. To get your free copy of Windows 7 you must download the .iso file to your hard drive and then burn it to a DVD by burning it as an "image." You must the boot from disk and instal the new operating system.

Windows XP install

I recently re-installed Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition on a old computer that I had lying around in the house. This computer was very slow, that is the reason that I re-formatted it. The total process took about 2 hours which included the time to back up everything, the time to set up the computer or the re-installation, the time to format the hard drive, the time to install Windows XP on the hard drive and finally the long process of installing additional software, updates, and changing personal settings. The longest process was the re-formatting and the installation of XP.
